OUR MISSION

We are a God-centered church rooted in God’s word. Jesus Christ, by His Spirit, equips and enables us to serve others together. With an atmosphere of caring fellowship we want to encourage growth in obedience.

OUR GOALS

First Oostburg Christian Reformed Church has several goals:

  • Ensure full participation of it’s members in the activities of the church.
  • To continue to foster diversity in worship, music and lay participation in worship leadership.
  • Bring small group leaders together for encouragement, training and prayer.
  • Begin a ministry of mentoring, bringing veteran and young believers together for mutual growth.

OUR HISTORY

First Oostburg Christian Reformed Church has a rich history dating its origins to the 1860’s. The congregation has occupied four different buildings, including its current facility built in 1957 and added to in 1984. The congregation has a strong history of biblical preaching, care for its members and support of the local Christian schools. Total membership has hovered around the 500 mark for the last several decades.
